NASA confirms Comet ISON To Hit The Sun

In a recent NASA video the narrator says "following the comet 'in to' the sun"
Not around the sun, but "in to" the Sun.
Surely NASA would not make a public announcement video with errors!!?

  • this Djorbitek is consistently full of BS, there is nothing about the comet at the moment as its obscured by the suns glare, the talk is about how bright it will be when it emerges from its trip around the sun.
as for the debris, well we've just been through a comet's debris field, its called the persid meteor shower and it was very pretty to watch, nothing more than a load of shooting stars as the debris ranges in size from a tennis ball to a spec of dust and burn up harmlessly [and beautifull More..

    • @omniradar fair play but to some who know nothing about this its misleading, i personally am optimistic that we will get a good view of ison and have it on my calendar :)

    • @Amourdillo It would have been visible from Nov to Feb and as bright as the moon if survived the sling shot toward us. Sad, I would have loved that, best we can expect is a meteor shower at best same time each year i'm sure. Aka Perseids & Leonids

    • @omniradar ive seen no legitimate story about it hitting the sun, burning up or fizzling out, only speculation about how bright it will be?? so as far as im aware its still going???

    • @Amourdillo you need to stop yourself and take in what has been put in the video and the link. Had I even mentioned the Earths demise?

    • @thrillho this video has no scare mongering about it. ISON will hit the sun. Earth will pass through its debris. Life will go on....nothing scary about that!!!!

    • @djorbitek Why the overly-dramatic music then?

    • @thrillho
So music that you class as dramatic instantly makes the video a scare mongering video? Is this what you are implying (dramatic music = scare mongering)? If so then we best not watch the NEWS as the intro music on them are scary as fu*k!! Christ even the teletubbies music could be classed as dramatic... Head for the hills and grab the tin foil men, those scare mongers are playing dramatic music again..... I don't understand you thrillho

    • @djorbitek "grab the tin foil men" - you can't even make a half witty rebuttal without sounding like a pleb. Funny that you accuse me of being a conspirtard when pretty much EVERY video you've uploaded is some nonsense that is EXACTLY the kind of content you are trying to mock me for belittling. djorbitek confirmed for the biggest faggot on LL.

  • Point of order... If the comet hit the sun...

There would be no debris field.

    Case closed.

The tail of the comet is dust and maybe ice.

    Nothing will happen.

  • And you do realize its just going to be nothing but 'dust and echos' right? The trail if/when we pass through it will only create microscopic particles traveling at 125,000mph, which our atmosphere will stop, and than nothing noticeable.

  • isoncampaign.org. The official site for NASA says that in November, ISON will pass at 1.1 million kilometers from the sun.  Chances are that it will melt and disintegrate greatly, but may be visible to the human eye as it passes earth in Dec.
