Thin-skinned politicians of today looking for a scapegoat, as if there isn't a broad selection of media available to anyone at anytime about anything.
Look at the elections 150 years ago, like the Jackson elections, they REALLY got nasty, especially in the media. Talking shit about each others wives and children and everything that today we would consider atrocious.
