@BuzzBuster .Russians are helping the Assad regime. Its their ally in the midle east. This is the reason they dont want Syria opposition to be armed by the US or anyone else for that matter.

@peaceseeker Please enlighten me with your wisdom. Why the hell Israel would like to take Assad down? Is it because Israel want another unstable border from the north? Maybe because Israel want an uncontrolable leaking of weapons from Syria to Hizbollah? Tell you the truth, I rather think that Israel would like things to remain the same. Look what happend in Egypt- the unstable situation in this country and Sinai just worsen the situation in the southern border of Israel.

Its sort of comical but reeks of the old saying you reap what you sow. The irony of it. Syria allowing extremists to filter into Iraq not so long ago now suffers the same fate but only reversed. How fitting.

The military industrial complex creates its own customer base. First, arm rebels, and then, arm countries to fight their rebels. It would be considered genius if it weren't so damn evil.

Russia is the prime arms dealer to Syria. They are a good customer. American weapons are to expensive for these rebel rag tag heads to afford. Lets see how well China arms the rebels with their AK-47 made in China.
Also, AK-47's are being built in Venezuela and Chavez has ships headed to aid Syria with "oil"
So, yes, buisness is booming for the AK-47 manufacturers. And the true burden is on Iran to prop up their punch drunkl ally
Too bad they are not made in america with ill More..

Supporting Al-Qaeda in Syria just as in Libya by NATO forces is a kick in the teeth to all and I mean ALL not just soldiers but civilians that have died up until this date directly or indirectly as a result of NATO's military invasion and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, why our public isn't outraged is beyond me... maybe the majority of our populations really are just dumb "sheeple" as much as I hate to such such a word.
The government spins the propaganda wheel and millions of p More..

Funny, Al-Qaeda has been at war with USA for a long time... now under American President Dipshit, we are giving our declared enemy arms.
President dipshit, are you a Al-Qaeda mole?

Couple of things to look at concerning this: Why would Al-Qaeda support the opposition in Syria publicly? Especially at a time when there is talk of Western financial support? Don't overlook the possibility of foreign players outside of Syria (Iran, Russia or China) paying Al-Qaeda to take such a public stance - just to be able to raise this issue. Al-Qaeda never took such a prominent position during the Tunisian, Egypt or Libyan overthrows - why now?

@viennachoirboy Except they did take part in the Libyan conflict. Isn't it denial, or bargaining, to try to explain away the evidence that is in your face? Al Qaida got involved in Syria before this time when support is being discussed.

@wellybub - Al-Qaeda had little or nothing to do in Libya. They definitely make a major announcement of their intentions, an tried playing both sides of the conflict.

This news channel is not afraid to speak about what Fox will not mention. The US is arming the terrorists secretly.
