It's a much deeper issue than dog fighting, biggles. You're dealing with a sick and dangerous mind here.
The solution needs to be for society to recognize that animal abuse should be treated on the same level as human abuse, not because animals are equal to humans, but because the mind set of the sick individuals involved will not change or differ between an animal and a human.
Society needs to get rid of the misdemeaner charges towards animal abuse and upgrade them to equal the same as a More..
