Use a 60-year old Molten Salt Reactor(MSR)
[SNIP]The Oak Ridge MSRE (Molten Salt Reactor Experiment), developed as a means to power aircraft due to its compact size and the relative safety of molten salt fuel, was successfully operational from 1965 to 1969. However, a nuclear reactor that is unable to produce bomb-grade material made this technology unattractive in a Cold War world.

@ChriSarasota About 56 000 years too early! I'm sure the concept of portable super energy systems (reactors, black holes or something else) will be our future but there is no way we can do it now. Most people don't realize but Quantum Mechanics is making it's first baby steps right now and 99.99999998789 percent of what is out there is yet to be discovered. Your modern I-Phone will be totally obsolete in 80 years and people would look at them as "barbaric" rel More..

Thanks.

WHy did the US win the Cold War ?
Because while the Soviets struggled to build farming tractors,
we built muscle cars for the middle class that could afford them.

This was a time when American Automakers had ideas. With Unions, it's now just a bunch of premade crap in a box. Ford is at at least trying now.
