  • He missed by about 10ft. or so. Lucky him. The resulting bounce tossed him onto the ramp instead of the ramp edge which could have been fatal.

  • Whats the point of having all those cars if you are only going to extend the ramp over the last 3 or 4 cars? Just take the damn cars out and you would have made the damn jump. If they added the extension over those cars, someone seems to know he couldn't make the jump.

    • he was attempting to beat his own record.
      the track he was on was a horse racing track and due to the time of night they couldnt see that that track was being tore up from the practice runs.
      when he finally hit the jump he wasnt able to get good enough traction to reach full speed.
      the ramp and landing set ups were fine.
      he was taking off on a bad surface and didnt have the speed to make the jump

    • Thanks for the info. I have heard of this happening a ton in these types of stunts. Most people don't realize just how important a surface is, since most of us wouldn't know the difference between normal grip and just a slight slip, just enough to slow u down a mph or less over the course of the run.
