@dingledd Did I say anything about law enforcement not needing to protect natural resources? I'm saying on a personal human level in this instance protesting a pigeon shoot is a waste of your abilities as a human being. However if you were out there actively helping to manage African game or even wildlife here in the states, I salute you and respect that.

@dingledd Activists far too often lump hunters and animal abusers into the same catagory and it makes me sick. So I get tired of having to defend hunters by loud mouth crazies. @Nepean109 - its not technically public property...it is an easement for the public access and public utility. they still own it but are required to allow the public on it- 24/7 because it serves the greater public good.
they are required to maintain it (in most states) but- the further east in the US you go the older the property rights get and the more confusing they become-
