Retro TV The Cheyenne show and Cimarron City

Cheyenne originally aired from 1955 to 1963. This show had many firsts. First hour long western, first Warner Bros series not based on a feature film, and many more. Bit of trivia, Clint Walker used to be a deputy Sheriff. He was promoted to ass kicker for the show.

Cimarron City originally aired from 1958 to 1959, a one season wonder. Bit of trivia. Dan Blocker was on this western before his Bonanza days.

The 50's were the golden age of TV western shows. If you like them don't worry more coming.

  • Peewee Reese came to my grade school way back when I was in the second grade! I was nine at the start of the fifties so I grew up on this stuff!
