A high speed chase in North Texas ended with a fiery crash Thursday morning, but a Dallas Sheriff's deputy and the man he was chasing both escaped with minor injuries. With flames shooting more than a dozen feet into the air, police managed to get both the officer and suspect out of their vehicles. Officials say the chase started in Grand Prairie with a report of a stolen car. It ended at Highway 635 and Hillcrest in Dallas when the suspect lost control of the car and crashed. The deputy couldn't avoid the wreckage and slammed into the suspect's car. That collision caused the suspect's car to burst into flames. The deputy was taken to Medical City Dallas and the suspect was at Parkland Hospital. Both are expected to recover.
