Typical FSA bullshit propaganda! The plane was NOT hit, that's the afterburner. However, I do hope he hit a few snackbars with his bombs.

@asa-spades i agree, the aircraft was in full afterburner and climbing. however, something did detonate near the aircraft. possibly bad ammunitions being launched, that wasn't a heat flare.

@FatalSystemError It wasn't ammunition as well, it was way to small to be any kind of aerial bomb. In the original video on YT (which is not a lot better) there is a barely visible smoke trail from the missile. for some reason you can't see it after the conversion.

Not a single SAM or MANPAD here.
I still found it interesting to see the jet go in and out of reheat and dump the occasional flare. Still a bogus title though.
I was also trying to figure out what type that is. I was going to go for SU-22.

@kle57 Flares don't look like that, and there are almost always multiple flares fired and not just a single one. that is definitely an explosion beneath the jet (most SAMs have a proximity fuse and are not designed to hit the aircraft directly).
It's hard to tell how much damage the jet took but it's obviously a hit.
