  • The 223 is fine for gophers and little people, but the 7.62 is the way to go.
    It will shoot just as far and accurate, but packs a lot more punch.
    These 223 pea shooters have cost a lot of soldiers their lives because they are weak.
    The Canadians used to use FNs chambered for 7.62, but changed because of the high cost of the rifles when compared to the M16. Now if the M16 is chambered for 7.62 you'd have fine rifle.

    • First there is no difference between .223 and 5.56mm they are the same round. Second it is a very good round that does the job as has been proven. Like the guy said there are alot of people not breathing on this planet because of that weapon, and will continue to cease the live of many in the future.

  • iv always wanted to shoot a M16 but in australia it would never be aloud.
    i wana go to the states just so i can shoot one, iv only ever shot a .22 and a single barrel shoty.
