  • actually, goin downhill you do want to use the front brakes only..'feather' the front brake....by using the back brake it causes you to go into an uncontrolled skid and wipe out much horribly quick...

      Depends on how steep the hill is, & what kind of terrain, but it's mostly front. Rear wheel locks up with very little brake pressure, if not modulated properly it'll kick your ass end to the side whick can really suck on grooved or rock & boulder strewn down hills :@)
