Activist Quanell X and dozens of other protesters Sunday faced hundreds of homeowners and supporters of Joe Horn, the Pasadena man who shot and killed two men he suspected of burglarizing a neighbor's home more than two weeks ago.
Families of the slain men, Miguel Antonio DeJesus, 38, and Diego Ortiz, 30, also were present.
Yard signs lined the 7400 block of Timberline in Pasadena, where the incident took place, as well as on nearby streets.
Residents and Horn supporters waved American flags and carried signs reading, "We love our neighbor for protecting our neighbors" and "Burglary is a risky business."
Motorcyclist Aaron "Blowout" Morrow, 43, and dozens of his fellow bikers lined Timberline, loudly revving their engines each time Quanell X attempted to speak.
"I support our rights as Americans to protect ourselves and support our Second Amendment rights," Morrow said.

He had every right to shoot those guys. He had a gun trained on them and told them that if they moved that he would shoot them. They moved--he shot. Let this be a lesson to all criminals--no matter what the skin color--do not steal, especially in Texas. God bless Texas.

All redneck momma's boy's aside, both parties in this case were taking serious chances... the robbers by so stupidly even being there, and the shooter by shooting these men when they weren't even in his house let alone shooting them IN THE BACK. That is an execution in the eyes of the courts, people...plain and simple.
I have been registered to carry a concealed firearm in my state (PA) for the last 15 years, and it is clear that even when an intruder comes into your house, it is your responsibility to exhaust ALL possibilities to diffuse the situation before taking that person's life. From what I know, this man far over-stepped his boundaries, plain and simple. Since this occurred in Texas, as a white man he may very well get off. It's been happening that way since this country was founded.
And to all those commenting on what race commits the most crime, you may want to go back through the REAL history of this country. You may be surprised to know the scale of global atrocities that have been committed by our country, not just hundreds of years of slavery here or genocide of natives. Our land was stolen from Mexicans, Native tribes from the East all the way to Innuit peoples in Alaska. Territories such as Guam, The Phillipines, even our "state" of Hawaii.
