The aircraft of the Turkish Air Forces struck Kandil, where the main headquarters of the terrorist organization PKK are located in northern Iraq.

The F-16 aircraft took off from Diyarbakir and destroyed the Zap, Avasin and Hakurk camps of the terrorist organization in a 3-hour air operation.

The F-16's destroyed 8 anti-aircraft weapons of the PKK also hit shelters where the terrorists communicate with the world and publish their internet site.

Following the bombardment by war planes, units of the Land Forces Command also hit PKK camps along the border with long-range weapons.

In a release by the Turkish General Staff on their web site, it was explained that targets belonging to the terrorist organization PKK in northern Iraq were hit.
