the daily mail isn't exactly a pillar of reliance. the intersect between the croc and backdrop looks all wrong.
In all likelyhood the photo is real, but with modification.
The crocodile has been cropped out, enlarged by 25% or so and pasted back in the photo. contrasting areas on the corcodile, especially the teeth and gums shows the usual pixel degredation you get when enlarging sections of a photo. the rest of the photo (boat, water and people) has an even smooth look to it.
      More..

Yes, the ignorance argument... lets put that one aside for a bit and get the minor issues out of the way first.

Shall we start with the assumption that neither of us are complete morons prone to prattle on about things we know absolutly nothing of? That way we don't insult each other, and everybody can maintain an overall cheerfull disposition.

"As compared to your highly educated knowledge in this matter?"
Well, lets see. What do I know about digital media and edit More..

  • Have to be shopped. The thing would be 25 foot long and weigh a ton by a wild guesstimation.
And I dont belive gators or crocs go verticle like that. They can "leap" forward for long distances Iv seen.

  • The largest crocodile on Earth, saltwater crocs - or 'salties' - are often said to be the animal most likely to eat a human.
The average male tends to be around 17 ft (five metres) in length and weighs 1,000 lbs (450 kg) but salties of up to 23 ft (seven metres) and weighing 2,200lbs (1,000 kilograms) are not uncommo
