  • Out here in California most everyone knows to avoid ANY sketchy looking Chinese restaurants because those spots WILL get you sick - and even if your stomach manages to escape unscathed you did probably eat some nasty shit unknowingly. I wouldn't ever even think about eating at a Chinese place with a rating of less than an A.

Its funny though, because when those same small sketchy spots are Mexican food they're always the BEST. Everytime you find a weird out of the way strip mall place that's a More..

    • @uncletom I agree with uncletom. In SoCal the mexican shops are the best to go to after a day of binging. They're open 24/7 and will give you generous portions on your carne asada fries.

  • How much money do they expect to save? It must be in the realm of just a few dollars a night. Point being that they aren't doing it because they need to, they are doing it because such behaviour is engrained into their psyche.

  • Fucked up part???

I'm sure most of us have heard a horror story or two about ISOLATED Chinese restaurants. I know I have. The most recent that jogs my memory was earlier this year where a customer actually SAW one of the Chinese cooks dragging in a dead deer through the front door!!

At any rate, my point is that even though we've heard of an incedent here and an incident there, those of us who eat Chinese food will most LIKELY, continue to do so. I know I will. Hell,...fact of the matter i More..

  • Doesn't think anything of being videotaped doing it... I'm in China in with two others from my home state and we've all gotten food poisoning. Chinese frankly don't understand germs or sanitation at all. I won't eat anything now that doesn't come to me piping hot. If you go to the supermarket you can buy cooked chicken/eggs or anything that was prepared in the morning and has simply been sitting out at room temp all day. It's baffling.
