The SAA (Syrian Assad Army) was ambushed and mowed down by machinegun fire of the Free Syrian Army. Immediately a handful of SAA soldiers were dead and/or wounded, while the majority of the force had retreated to less open ground and assumed sniper positions.
The FSA (Free Syrian Army - The main rebel group fighting against the regime of Bashar Al-Assad) then advances and tries to either take some prisoners, but they notice they are all either dead or wounded. They spot a young officer still moving even though he seems to have been hit by a bullet.
As they attempt to capture and in effect save his life, the SAA opens fire right above the head of the wounded SAA. You can clearly see bullet(s) flying into the wall just above the wounded soldier at 0:55 seconds

So...if these are SAA soldiers who were just cut down...WHERE ARE THEIR GUNS? Bodies in a heap without one firearm? In a ditch...surrounded by tall buildings...against a wall? I'd say they were lined up and executed.

I don't buy the story given either, but we just don't know. However, the likelihood of the FSA capturing, disarming, and lining them up to mow them down is exceedingly low. Why? If you listen REALLY hard, in the background, there's a fucking massive firefight going on. Try and come up with a way to accomplish a systematic execution while dodging enemy fire. Further, if they had just executed them by firing squad, they SUCK at it. Not only did they leave before finishing, but they're More..

Never saw since WW2 warcrime so well and shamelessly documented, this is definitely a cold blooded execution of "unarmed" soldiers.
Spreading terrorist propaganda like these is not only against Geneva Conventions, but a factual Warcrime. This poster and other posters can and should and will be be prosecuted in the near future for promoting terrorism and glorifying warcrimes.

Save the officer for what? I see one video after another of personnel of both sides executing captives. Seems to be the norm in this conflict. I am not so sure I would want to be taken alive.

Here's what I think happened... the fsa lined up these SAAs and shot them dead. One of the fsa (I think only one in civilian clothes in that pile) was inspecting or scavanging and he got shot by the SAA. The FSA then trying to save him and they twisted the story for the propoganda. I don't believe fsa would risk their life like that idiot behind the wall in order to save an saa or shabiha.. i mean come on get real
