Yes it is ironic the same corporations they are protesting, are the ones they have sunk their money into.(or parents money)

I have helped design several electronic devices and would love to know where these 0.05 cent chips can be had. When we went to China for our chip design and manufacture, it was around $1.00 each! Then there was the quality issue, so poor, we ended up building them in Europe.
