  • As far as I'm concerned the criminals gave up their rights just as they took the rights of their victims when they commited the crime. Yeah medical testing is not so cool, but to a murderer or rapist spending the next 20+ years of his life living on our dime, I think there is much more we could test on these wastes of skin.

    • @treday well clearly this guy isn't a murderer or rapist otherwise he would likely still be locked up. Fact is you don't care about anyone in prison whether it be for GTA or 187.

      well, what if say, a family member of yours had a few too many beers and drove a car, then killed somebody. Went to prison, volunteered for some experiment because he/she wanted a few extra dollars for the commissary. As a result of the experiments, was fucked up for the rest of their life. and you had to see them suffer from this every day. Would you feel any different?

      btw - It's not all child rapists and ax-murderers in prison.

  • That's so fucked up! People in prison are usually desperate people so its not really fair to take advantage of them. Plus, I'm guessing a few people that signed on were probably lacking the ability to read, or comprehend what they were actually signing to.

    I don't see why they cant pass legislation though to make it legal for lifers to voluntarily donate themselves to medical research, so long as they are of sound mind and/or have the mental capacity to understand what they are doing and they More..

  • They signed ontoit,were told about potentialrisks,and paid for it.
    There was no law against it then,like now.
    They aren't owed anything.
    I see Yusef is still wearing a bandage on his head. If this was so toxic, and happened in 1964, why is he still alive? I am sure he's been through far worse, and put worse poison in his body, since.

    This is what you get for trying to give convicts a profession. We should have just kept using retards and mentally ill wards of the state for this.
