Ran from 1968 to 1970 with 50 episodes. One season on NBC and one on ABC. Not very successful in the ratings against shows like Family Affair and My Three Sons, it was cancelled after only two seasons. But there is still a sizable fan base of the show out there still today. Has a very catchy theme. Based on the 1947 movie of the same name which was based on the book by R.A. Dick.

The actor in the Swanson dinner commercial is Hans Conreid. A famous comedian, character and voice actor. Some of you might know him best as the voice of Captain Hook in Disney's animated Peter Pan. I know him best as Thorin Oakenshield (The King under the Mountain) in the Rankin Bass animated movie "The Hobbit". And his role in "The Monster That Challenged The World" an old favorite of mine. Movie scared the hell out of me as a kid. His career was quite extensive in radio, TV and movies.
