The radiation level is one thing, I want to know exactly what isotopes they are finding in the fish. Some of the isotopes are toxic in their own right and their toxicity can be more dangerous than the radioactivity.

@leadfoot88 Regular, everyday lead, mercury and arsenic aren't radioactive, but you wouldn't want to be eating food contaminated with those metals, because they bioaccumulate, and their concentrations increase the higher up the food chain you go. Guess who's on top of the food chain?

@MrScabs Okay, and?... No, you cannot avoid radiation. You get it from a thousand different sources, most of which are more potent than what's being found in these fish. The fact that you can't avoid it, doesn't erase the fact that it's harmless.

Banana's contain radioactive isotopes that occur naturally as well, Brazil nuts contain enough radio active material to trigger leak sensors in nuclear power plants about 1000 times as radio active as any thing else we would normally eat. Both are obviously completely safe to eat. This is all pointless information.
