(KMOV) -- Another cross-dressing bank robbery in St. Louis.
The latest crime happened Saturday at the Vantage Credit Union at 4545 Lemay Ferry Road in south St. Louis County.
Around 10:00 a.m. a black male wearing a blackish brown wig, tan jacket, blue jeans and denim bag showed a handgun to the teller and demanded money. He walked out of the bank and may have gotten into a late 80's Suburban. A witness reported seeing that type of vehicle leaving the area in a hurry, traveling south on Lemay Ferry Road.
If you have any information about this crime call Crimestoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS or St. Louis County Police at 314-889-2341.
This is the third time a cross-dressing bank robber has hit the St. Louis area in the last few months.
In August, a black man dressed as a woman hit a bank in the 2900 block of Telegraph Road.
Then in September, a suspect with a similar description robbed the Southern Commercial Bank at 3207 Meramec.
The descriptions and photos of these suspects are similar, but police have not confirmed whether the same man is responsible for all of the robberies.
