I have seen this before and enjoyed watching it again. The dog doesn't really want to kill the cat. It just enjoys sneaking up on it and does a great job of it. My pit chases my cat all the time but its all in fun. He just gets bored. If he wanted the cat dead he would have killed it a long time ago.

Yes, I've seen a dog at work that was serious about killing cats. It would get a mouthful of cat and shake like hell. If that didn't finish it, the dog would revise its grip and do it again. It was over in 30 seconds max.
