he's supposed to respect all of america's main religions and not show favoritism to any one religion. if he shows public respect for Judaism and Christianity his showing respect for another one of the world's, and this country's, most popular religions is a wise move -- an American move

I think you missed the point.
The text outlining the content of the video rightfully pointed out that he ignored the National Day of Prayer which to American Christians is all about them and then he does this.
His own Christian beliefs are irrelevant in that his political enemies will ignore them and insist that he must in fact be a Muslim as claimed because of his refusal to acknowledge the Day of Prayer while addressing Muslims regarding their holy days.
Obama has done some good things and More..

Do you recall how the U.S. Congress was turned over to the Republicans during the Clinton administration and how utterly shocked and confused the main stream media and Democrats were by it?
