Back in September of 2011, under the waning Gadhafi regime in Libya, it was reported that 20,000 missing shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles were taken out of bunkers, in part due to Barack Obama refusing to send troops to guard the weapons depot. The U.S. has spent millions of dollars in an attempt to recover them, but to date only about 5,000 have been found.

This means there are approximately 15,000 anti-aircraft missiles still at large and no one knows where they are.

While some are assuming that Al-Qaida elements in both Libya and the surrounding countrieshave some of these weapons, it is also assumed that the African jihadists, Boko Haram in Nigeria, have also acquired these missiles. Some may have even found their way into Syria.

The potential threat to our troops and to commercial airliners from these weapons has definitely been increased.

It is incidents like this one which demonstrate just how “un-safe” you are when you fly. The continued violation of American’s Fourth Amendment rights, via the TSA, are simply a demonstration that they cannot prevent everything.

The problems we face in regards to terrorism is stopping the people before they are able to attack. This does not happen while people are waiting in line to be handled. It should be happening long before. The TSA has absolutely no measure to deal with an individual who wants shoot a plane out of the sky with one of these.

We know our borders are wide open. We know our rights are being violated. We know that the FBI and others did nothing to stop the alleged hi-jackers of 9-11, though they had enough evidence to deport many of them. Yet, we continue to be comfortably sedated thinking that we are safe because we take our shoes off at the airport, go through intrusive pat downs and body scanners. Yet the illusion of safety should be shattered by the reality of what is actually taking place in the world around us, as well as, the inability of any of these Constitution violating procedures to be of any real significant effect against those who wish to do us harm.

While Barack Obama would not send troops to guard the weapons depot, he will make sure that you, as an American citizen, are inspected, poked, groped, humiliated and forced to submit, violating your Fourth Amendment rights, should you choose to board a flight in the United States.
