Iranian archaeologists have excavated a second millennium BCE skeleton along with a number of ancient relics in Marvdasht city located in the country’s southern province of Fars.

“A number of glazed and painted potteries were also found at Tal-e Sabz mound in Marvdasht that demonstrates the residing existence in the region from pre historical era,'' IRNA quoted the director of excavation team Farideh Shirani as saying.
Conducted by archaeological students of Marvdasht Islamic Azad University, this season’s project is to be continued for further achievements, Shirani noted.
Located 20 km North East of Marvdasht plain, Tal-e Sabz mound was inscribed on the country’s national heritage list in 2005.
Marvdasht, as an ancient Iranian spot, was the center of the vast Persian Empire. The Persepolis is in the vicinity of the city and few kilometers farther is Naqsh-e Rostam, Naqsh-e Rajab and the ruins of the ancient city of Estakhr, all reminiscent of the glorious history of the region.

@shaytune I adhere to the Persian method of making important decisions. Get drunk and make decision. Have somebody sober write down what ever it was. Sober up and go with it. It served them well for 500 or so years.

Sad to think all the artifacts will be in the homes of the Illuminati just as all the stuff got stolen from Iraq's museums.

@Mr_Persuki
Hey @shaytune, you voted me down, so you don't think the government will take all these items after they do the same thing to Iran as they did to Iraq? Or are you just voting people down for fun?

@DirtyUncleBerty Wonder how long it took to come up with a change that used the same two first letters? First time I heard it was from a Jehovah's Witness in the late seventies.
