This guy was shot and he is injured. Realizing that he had not finished his "job" the killer came back to the crime scene and shot this poor bastard again. The first attempt failed and the second hit him directly in the head. (but he survived)

Yes there is violence everywhere, just that its much worse south of the equator than north of it and its DEFINITELY more brutal.
At least when you get killed in America or Europe etc its usually pretty quick and to the point. In South America, Africa or Mideast, they seem to love making it as painful and gruesome as they possibly can.
