  • We have a heavy JDAM storm to the northeast of Bagdad, with moderate showers of cruise missies around the
Sunni-Triangle area. Humidity at around 110 percent.

  • So, why were you invading Iraq again?
Ah right, weapons of mass destruction.
And how much did that war cost again?

Here's something I'm 100 percent sure you never heard: The UN defined chemical weapons as filled artillery shells, for example, marked "chemical weapons." The chemicals put into chemical shells are the same as the chemicals used in insecticide.

We found no filled artillery shells, but we found thousands of empty artillery shells at emplacements with thousands of 55-gallon drums marked "insecticide."

  • Say what you will about their politics, Hussein and his military were dignified. I remember watching the video of the Hussein execution, and while everyone else in that room was howling and capering like drunken frat bros, Hussein stood there with quiet gravity and dignity. He looked like a bear surrounded by a pack of yipping coyotes. The general in this video may be an authoritarian monster, but you have to respect the stoic, iron resolve he exhibits.

Denial is an amazing power. Everything I've read about Saddam says that he thought he'd never be hanged, right up into the moment they sprung the trapdoor on him.

    • @NoJusticeNoPeace Dignity in your definition would then be one of the major, historical proponents of human suffering and mass murder; I think you're mistaking "dignity" with sententiousness and hubris. Hilarious comment by the way.

    • @KingSize0 Lol, another delusional rant from the internet Jihadist. Assad will rule Syria for many decades to come, while you Jihadist rats crawl back to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. I know, you Jihadists are having a lot of fun hiding behind civilians, planting car bombs, brainwashing child soldiers, and killing Christians.

Hey, at least you Jihadists will enjoy living under a Islamic wannabe Caliphate in Saudi Arabia, while dreaming what sharia law government could've been like in Syria More..

Across Baghdad we are celebrating our superiority over the oppressors! Praise Allah! Please join with me in celebrating our success by joining your loyal countrymen in a nearby cellar, deep in mother earth. LET’S GO RIGHT NOW, before any more fireworks go astray!

  • Amazing, lions. Saddam died beautiful. It's the truth and you know it. A bunch of Shia monkeys in ski masks woofing at him safe behind their masks, with Saddam handcuffed and under guard woofing like cockapoos at a pit bull heading for the Pound's death cell. And Saddam laughed at them, especially when they chanted the name of their pissant Imam, Moqtada al-Sadr. You can hear him on that jerky cellphone video sneering, "Moqtada?" And Saddam earned the right to laugh; he killed Sadr Sr More..

We have our problems now i agree, but if you have never visited the middle east then you are in no position to act like you know everything. Thousands of americans live here in peace and love it here. Have you ever visited the gulf (UAE, qatar or bahrain) for example. The problems we have with Syria, Palestine etc... are problems who'se root cause is Israel and America's unconditional support to Israel's war cr More..

  • Guy has certifiable balls. Respect for sitting there unmoved when the greatest military force the world's ever seen is bearing down.

I looked him up: He signed Gulf War I ceasefire, apparently he helped/offered to help the US pre-invasion, was jailed by Saddam briefly in fear of his involvement in a coup before the invasion, surrender to Petraeus 6 months after the invasion, and was sentenced to death (but his punishment was never carried out due to his popularity and US guarantees).
