Why is the video cut short and low end quality? Nobody gets out of the vehicle, is that orders to remain calm, or because they are hurt? We can only wonder when we get cut short
also, is that a taliban flag pole to the 4 o clock of the wreckage? Looks like black taliban flags
the guy with the perfect view of oncoming vehicles, and the IED spot would be to the 10 o clock. house with the 3 black 2nd floor windows on the left side of the road, behind the vehicles.

@NotJim I want a flir camera, then I could go ghost busting.
They all use folded optics. I have a meade etx spotter with folded optics, and it's quite nice. It's an older 3.5 in model. Celestron makes a nice 5 in spotter now.

@NotJim oh, so you are an aficionado too. I used to collect optics, and this might sound odd, but the sharpest spotter I bought was a cheap one made in belarus. It used mirrors instead of prisms. It was made by sibir optics. All my russian military optics are crude pieces of junk.

You're much more the collector than I. Good optics cost too much :-)
BTW, my Celestron lens isn't a 3" but a 3.5" (500mm) C90. It was a gift from a friend. Its adapters fit a camera I no longer use; at some point I'll choose a good DSLR and acquire the right adapters for that. Meanwhile I've mounted an eyepiece from my 4" reflector telescope, and use it with a sturdy tripod.
