Child of rage: Beth
Beth was a victim of childhood sexual abuse until she was approximately 19 months old. Her mother died when she was one year old and she and her infant brother Jonathan were left at the mercy of their sadistic father. Beth describes her father’s abuse in matter-of-fact tones and displays a crayon picture of herself lying in bed weeping as he fondles her genitalia. Her voice is as eerily calm and flat when speaking about her own abuse as it is when talking about the abuse she inflicted on her brother.

I am unsure whether I agree on this kind of documentary being here. Children are to be protected from all of the aberrations of life. This stuff is morbid rather than informative.
Was it necessary to interview the little girl that way? And if it was, on a medical standpoint...why make it public?

@MarcusMose Yes it is more to cater to the voyeuristic public who then can say all the evil they wish visited on child molesters after enjoying the show.
Children have a right to privacy and adults, especially therapists, should respect it, which obviously they didn't or the therapy interviews wouldn't have been made public.
At the very end, the question that made her cry shouldn't have been asked. It was asked only for the needs of the show, not for the good of the child.

Hang on. Abused until 19 months old and she has these memories, and this psychiatric makeup? 1 1/2 years old....what memories do you have from that age?
I am not diminishing the despicableness of what was done to them. However I am not sure it explains their psychosis.

@gregsto It may have something to do with the fact that we did not have many memorable events from those early years.
I imagine that the sort of traumatic events that Beth endured have a special way of being remembered.

It was good to see her cry at the end. that shows she has feelings and feels bad about what she had done. I hope she is able to put all this in her past and move on to have a wonderful life.
As for her abuser father, i hope he has been locked up for good or better yet,,,DEAD.

Imagine the further damage that was done to these two children when they were placed into the care of a couple who based their religion on a book that supports child rape, murder , genocide, genital mutilation, the death penalty for working on the wrong day or wearing the wrong clothes?
If these two damaged kids had been fostered with parents who cared about children instead of looking forward to the "End of days" they might stand some hope of improvement.
