Some good choices on there and nice to see the French properly represented...they often get unfairly penalised for being Blitzkrieg victims in 1940...would be interesting to see how other countries would have fared under the same assault heh heh

Silly list. There were so many battles and last stands that there is no way you could pick out only 10 of them with any justice. I'm thinking for instance of that battle whose name I forget when a a few hundred Russian soldiers held back an army of 22 thousand Persians during Russo-Persion wars. They had only two cannons and formed a "live bridge" to get them quickly from one part of the battlefield to another. They held out.
