I thought I would share this with you. It's a 'work in progress' for a guitar instrumental that I've been fooling around with. My face doesn't appear because it was originally posted elsewhere and I wasn't sure I wanted my face elsewhere too at the time.
The track is played over a pretty static drum loop and all the tones are from Guitar Rig.
Hope you enjoy it.
*edit*
The guitar is a 91 Strat Plus and it was my first expensive guitar bought 18 years ago in a fit of consumer lust. I still love it.
I have heard of the Lydian Chromatic concept. From what little I know it involves resolving everything to a lydian due to the lydian mode's 'More major than the Ionian' feel. Personally I tend to think modally anyway and resolve everything to a natural minor in my mind to keep things straight. Even when playing in a major key...go figure.
