I thought I would share this with you. It's a 'work in progress' for a guitar instrumental that I've been fooling around with. My face doesn't appear because it was originally posted elsewhere and I wasn't sure I wanted my face elsewhere too at the time.
The track is played over a pretty static drum loop and all the tones are from Guitar Rig.
Hope you enjoy it.
*edit*
The guitar is a 91 Strat Plus and it was my first expensive guitar bought 18 years ago in a fit of consumer lust. I still love it.
I have heard of the Lydian Chromatic concept. From what little I know it involves resolving everything to a lydian due to the lydian mode's 'More major than the Ionian' feel. Personally I tend to think modally anyway and resolve everything to a natural minor in my mind to keep things straight. Even when playing in a major key...go figure.
Thanks guys, I appreciate you watching it. I have another short track that I can post up later on, the others are just lesson vids. I will make some time to record more tunes / playing at some point.

That's awesome, Hayden. That makes me want to learn how to play the guitar one day. Voted.

Have you heard of, or do you use the Lydian chromatic concept?
