People’s Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas shot down an unmanned aerial
vehicle the Turkish army has been using against guerrillas.

The
reconnaissance air vehicle with anti-aircraft batteries was shot down by
guerrillas in Ertuş area of Zap region in Media Defense Areas. The
images reached by ANF show the UAV all in pieces.

UAVs have been
closely followed by guerrillas in the recent term when reconnaissance
aircrafts have been featured by the army on Turkey-South Kurdistan
borderline.

The air vehicle which went into pieces has been found by a group of guerrillas in the field the previous day.”
