You can be sued for even touching him. Everybody nowdays is sue-happy and if he has the slightest injury due to being "helped" you're done. Let the trained emergency people or someone else do it.

You never see that. At least all the videos over at THEYNC.COM just show crowds of people gawking and snapping pics with their cells phones while th injured lay there baking their guts in the hot sun.

California just passed a law that exempts lawsuits against good Samaritans. One less sue-happy excuse. :)

Your right about the legal reasons. It just pains me to see clips of people that have been shot and people standing around. The military trained me hard about the magic hour and to see people shot, with people standing around, just makes me wish I could jump in.

Same here, I just can't stand a second watching someone asking for help without atempting something.
I think it is wise to wait for the emergency service in most occasions, but here I would have thought the car coud collapse on him, so it was better to drag him out.

Ok sooo I'm running, and and I'm running, there's the accident, oh he's hurt, one second while I take my iPod earphones out, ok man, just hang on, i've got to put this thing away carefully, it's expensive you know.
