The day after a humiliating performance by the EDL at a rally in Denmark which saw members of various race-hate groups from across Europe outnumbered 20 to 1 by anti-fascists, EDL leader Stephen Lennon using his 'Tommy Robinson' stage-name appeared on BBC 1's topical debate show The Big Questions.
Lennon has now become very accustomed to smooth rides from the media. He normally appears with journalists, who are duty-bound to interview him in an impartial and rarely critical way, however, The Big Questions' was not going to afford him this luxury. His now very familiar trick of talking over people asking him inconvenient questions wasn't doing him any favours in this arena, and counterpointed by a very formidable opponent in the shape of Mohammed Ansar in particular, meant that Lennon, didn't come out of this performance looking very well at all...
