A Great Railroad at Work 1942

The New York New Haven and Hartford at work narrated by Lowell Thomas (for best results this film should be viewed using 1942 eyes)

opens with the President and Trustree Howard S Palmer who does his utmost not to look at the camera! he goes on to describe the jobs and functions. the men of the yard come into view - and what a sight too! look at that locomotive at 2.50, Impressive? James Bond would have to wait 30 years for something so visually stimulating as this. This film has it all.

It's long vid so be warned, 24 mins-ish. if you don't like what you see after 4 minutes or so bail and bail quickly for you will not like the rest, sorry.
