Not long after that, maybe a couple of years, there was a really f*cked up Federal judge named William Wayne Justice that decided the prisoners in Texas prisons should be integrated and so ordered. For months the integrated inmates were killing each other, sometimes 4 or 5 a week. Blacks against Hispanics with whites in the middle. The TDC kept that out of the news as much as they could. Thankfully, the son of a bitch responsible, WWJ, is dead now of natural causes.
