  • Those cops should lighten up. That guy was clearly on his way to the local library for the chess club meeting . . .

But, had he volunteered his services that day for the Meals on Wheels program for disabled senior citizens? Remember!... community service before play! :)

Yes. Now you will flame me and dislike it but it's just crossed my mind that that crap goes around in Catholic Church too. Someone does something bad, everyone flames at whole institution. 1 priest or even 10, 100 does something bad in last years, everyone knows but no1 knows about those 399 000 that done bunch of great stuff.

That's the problem with todays society. Bunch of people that are sad individuals, sad lifes, can't do nothing about it and they just hate everything More..

  • Isn't there some sort of physical agility testing that must be done annually or is it, test, get hired and then eat all the donuts you want forever until your triple bypass?

    • They tried to fire some guy a few years ago for being over weight and he sued saying it was discrimination and he won. My friend is about 50lbs over weight and he finished the academy 3 months ago. The NYPD pretty much takes anyone with no criminal history.

    • @BoonieRat718 Always wondered how all those guys got around that. That's a lot of bullshit if you ask me.

  • "I didn't do nothing", then why are you resisting? They made up their mind you're going to jail, now acting up won't help you in any way, shape or form. Use your right to remain in silence and hire a lawyer. Simple as that! End of the day.

  • "I didn't do nothing"...

    Therefore, you did something. Idiot.

  • I didn't do nothin. Double negative, which means he did something.

  • 'I didn't do nothing' is a double negative, meaning you did do something. And black people constantly calling each other the N word yet if typed in it crosses some sort of line, fuckin ridiculous!

  • Yeah going with the cops on this one. As soon as you mess with the cops they instinctively start freaking out because they think someone is going to pull a gun on them, just as a matter of knowing the atmosphere they're working in. Especially if another cops gets assaulted they guy doing the arrest has to get the guy in cuffs double time to be able to protect the other officers and himself.

Also if you're getting arrested, go limp. Just go limp. I know it sounds hard to do if you're on the grou More..

They should have arrested that other fool too IMO.

    • @InqWiper Not the right neighborhood to do it in, they'll only attract a crowd and risk a violent response from the community. It's for that very reason that you saw so many of those cops show up.

    • @suicidebob Justice is not politically correct, you're in a poor neighborhood and assault a cop you deserve to go to jail. You're in a rich neighborhood and assault a cop you deserve to go to jail.

There's a reason Justice is blind. If it isn't blind to wealth, affiliation, preference, religion, race or sex, it isn't justice.

    • @strideninja Watching the video again, the man who attacked them looks like he had about 3-4 officers approach him. He might have been arrested, but I can't tell. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't though because, sadly, due to human nature, your described version of justice doesn't always hold up. If these officers are operating in a high risk area where they have been open fired on before, their sole goal is to get the suspect they intended on arresting and getting out of there as quickly More..

    • @suicidebob You obviously don't know NYC cops. It doesn't take long for an army of backup to show up. 7th largest army in the world.
