US hypersonic aircraft crashes in test flight

The unmanned experimental hypersonic military aircraft called the Waverider broke apart over the Pacific Ocean seconds into a test flight due to a faulty control fin, the US Air Force said.

the shape of this so called hypersonic craft looks nothing like what the media propaganda graphic rendering. but it sure looks looks like a missile resembling the famous X-15 plane.

Well it launched, but let's not rebuild it. There is no practcal application for Mach6. That is way too fast to maneuver so the technology can't be used for a plane. It would crush anything being blasted into Earths orbit. If anything it is get ballistic missile technology... if the payload could survive the pressure.
Good experiment, but lets be done with it.
