Scientific Miracles in the Quran

According to the quran, which came first, the heaven or the earth? I've raised this question to many muslims who claim the quran is the perfect word of allah, even a few here at LiveLeak. None have given a response.

Wow such haters on this site. Not even a Muslim myself, and I can appreciate the sciences that have emerge from the Middle East; such as the revolutionary field of Mathematics, plumbing, etc... an abundant list that we all take for granted.

yup thats true then religion got in the way and they turned to nothing more than robots.
disproving the Qur'an has nothing to do with the ppl in the middle east. given some education they could be productive members of this world. but as is there nothing more than cannon fodder for there holy wars.
most likely there religion will wipe them out in a giant mushroom cloud.
but thats simply beyond the point. this video does nothing but show how the fundis use/misuse the Quran to prove things it does not prove.

You could use the same argument about the Catholic church... They where more detrimental to sciences then Islam.
My point had nothing to do with religion. It was only appreciating the origins of advanced sciences.
