Is it just me, or does this sound a bit suspicious? Obama has been one to very carefully watch his words, and when he said the following "...we were not, I think, perceived by the Governor's office, as amenable to any deal-making," it gives me pause.
Now...think about this. For one to be perceived as anything, wouldn't one have to have been approached to get a sense of their position? How can one be 'perceived' to be anything, if one were not, in some form, approached about that very thing? This all just strikes me as very odd, and I'm only HOPING that Blagojevich is so arrogant that he will toss Obama under the bus to save his own skin.
Folks, the connections here are too glaring to ignore. I ask you to listen to the above clip a few times and just let it sink in. This was no mis-speak.
