When you receive contact you execute a mad minute which is as much firing as possible at known, likely and suspected targets for about 60 seconds to gain fire superiorty. Then you relax, see if they re-engage you and conduct the three F's. Find 'em, Fix 'em, Fuck 'em up. At least that's how the US Army Infantry does it.

@Flashovr I've never heard that although I like it. I have nothing against Italy or the Italian military but I'm guessing these guys and the Americans with them weren't a unit that sees much action. Their mad minute was more like mad hour. I guarantee the Taliban fled soon after the initial fire. Judging by the way they were still shooting and needing ammo it didn't look like they had much experience getting shot at. Hopefully it stays like that and they get out of there safely.
