Funny, I just learned about this new stucco method last week, never considered the fire potential. Thanks for posting this with an explanation.
P.S. these new stucco methods look awesome when done, but definitely seem to have at least one serious flaw.

Apparently it's been catching on around here in the past few years. Seems quicker & easier to do, looks awesome, odd shapes can be designed out of foam, the the stucco crew does their work. Heard it's more expensive that brick per square foot, but people want that California stucco look.

@figatomek It's common practice since at least a few decades. Nowadays they use a polystyrene which is flame resistant. But fire restrictions vary in each country so maybe in Poland they use a different type.

@figatomek Its banned in the uk...simply because of this reason...you dont have to remove it if it was installed many years ago,("i would after seeying this vid") but has not been allowed in new builds for many many years.

@figatomek Fig, my house is actually stucco but it is fire proof by law. The only houses you see catching fire are the old stucco or wood ones out here. I guess in the hot ass desert they have to be safer than eastern Eu.

@BeansAndOnions well.. the fire wasnt that big at the beginning.. it couldnt have been more than ten minutes from the start of the fire to the point the video started.. you saw how fast that fire went.. don't you think it would have been worse if it had been longer?.
Unless of course it smouldered for hours beforehand.
