My nephew was a victim of an attempted car jacking or worse in the middle of the Arizona desert. Three guys ran him off the road. He has a concealed permit though and whipped out his 9mm, fired two rounds at their feet as they approached him. They got back in their car and drove away. I hate to think what might have happened if he was unarmed.

@CargeLock Too late now. Way too many bad guys. My nephew had registered his weapon, taken the proper courses and license and is a crack shot. It saved him from something probably very bad, that's all I know. In this case he broke the cycle of violence that day. He was not another victim. I know what you are saying, though.

My .45 is bad. He pretends he is a classic M1911 but he is really an imposter from Spain.
My .380 semi is naughty sometimes. He is really nice inside but he lets no-account ammo influence him too easily.
My .38 revolver has a pretty solid character. He's old-school.
My .22 is a single action revolver. I have to be extra careful with that fellow because he can go off half-cocked sometimes.

The murder from 3:22 onward was a kid who had been constantly bullied by this guy, then he waited for the bully who said he was coming to kick his ass and when the bully went up on the porch...bang. life in prison for one, death for the other.

Over the centuries combatants have tried to give themselves advantages. One of the biggest advantages is distance.
First it was hand to hand, and then someone picked up a stick. Next it was a rock to throw, a knife then a spear.
After a while someone made an atlatl and made the spear go further.

None of the good guys in this video had guns. I suppose the poster of this video sees more nobility in being unarmed and shot to death than being armed and protecting your life from the scum of society. Put a sign in your window "Losers_Finish_Last". Have it read "Gun free zone". You deserve it.
