trash come from squatters..Squatters come from provinces, in bulks it is the city pollutants there is no job in the provinces..Why manila? because its the seat of govt its where the most Corrupt..homeless squatters, corrupt govt/polotician living side by side. its worst in the provinces there so poor.

@drahc88 If you define poverty in terms of income, then sure, tons of it in the province, however you almost never see trash, homless people, or any kind of poverty in the provinces at all. People come to the city because they want to make more money, no other reason. Most are successful.

I haven't seen rubbish like that in Manila bay for a couple of years now, looking at the marble ledge I'd say your video is probably a few years old too? I don't get over that side of town very often though. You are right, the NCR is pretty dirty in places, particularly Tondo, but 30 minutes out of the city and you step in to a different country. Very beautiful.
