Man got 2.5 years after pretending to be neighbor's BF
He undressed himself and then sneaked into the girl's room next door, pretending to be her BF. Vigilant girl found it was not the right person on the bed and called police. He was sentenced to two and half years in prison for attempted rape. There are cases in which some criminals made it before the victims found out later. Police ask women to be cautious when in situations like this.

China takes the dimmest view of 'poisonous' crimes, ie those which affect or go on to corrupt the wider community.
So the most extreme punishments are often reserved for drug dealing, money counterfeiting/laudering, political corruption etc.
