@angeldelamort As president, Obama has been more pro-gun than anti-gun, based on his statements and actions. He signed the law allowing guns in the National Parks, reversing a long-standing ban...Aside from specultation, there is no evidence Obama will take any anti gun action. Can you even name a single example of anti-gun policies Obama has enacted as president?

@Excel You got that right. Rock River Arms, my favorite and one of the best AR builders, has been on back order for nearly two years. As soon as they get a part in it is either sent right back out or is put on an ordered rifle. My order took 4 months to be built because some parts were harder to find. AKs are still super cheap and readily available in any type. I like my AK-74 (not 47), it's a Polish Tantal in 5.45x39mm. Check my profile for a picture of it.

We are only at a stalemate because there are no more laws that can be made that won't destroy the 2nd Amendment. Yeah you could put an Assault Rifle Ban back into effect, but that doesn't stop criminals from getting them. Only the law abiding citizens are affected by laws and they are the ones you want to have those weapons to defend from the criminal that already has one.

You know Obama signed the law allowing you to carry firearms in the National Parks, right? Under Obama's watch concealed carry is now legal in almost every state. Perhaps during his second term he will do an about-face and suddenly take anti-gun action...but he knows he would be damaging the Dem brand More..
