A Missouri River levee failed near the Iowa-Missouri border this morning, forcing a flash flood watch for the town of Hamburg, Iowa.
An Arizona contractor recorded raw video of the Hamburg levee break while visiting the town of 1,200 to help friends and relatives.
News reports that Hamburg is protected by a second levee, but it's unclear if it will hold.
The local fire department has said that if efforts to protect the town, Hamburg could be under 8 feet of water for a month or more.
