From WCCO: The Minneapolis Police Department is again defending itself against accusations that an officer went too far during an arrest - Oct 02, 2009
I cant belive this, that man had his hands on the hood and was not fighting, nor threatning that pig of a cop.
Some ****in cops are coward pieces of shit who take their position of power and the fact their backed up with weapons and partners too far. These cowards hide behind a badge with intent to take back their dignity stolen from them in high school when the cooler kids kicked their ass.
I've seen video where few deserve the taser, but most was an abuse of power and obviously used at an uneccasary length of time.
Stop putting these fags on paid leave everytime they get in trouble an claim its everyone else's fault. Those cops are no different than the criminals they arrest, to charge them like one.
I'm sure most of ya'll spend more time watching your rearview mirror for cops than gangs and terrorist.
Quoted comment by tncobra: So what did this guy do?
Nothing!! It shows leading up to the taser, he had his head turned and his hands where on the hood. I wish this was me.... I would so do that for 75,000.
75K lawsuit and reprimand sounds petty. WHEN WILL THEY HAVE A SYSTEM THAT IMMEDIATELY FILES CRIMINAL CHARGES ON AGRESSION AND CRIMINAL ACTS LIKE THIS JUST LIKE THEY WOULD TO ANYONE ELSE INSTEAD OF THIS COP/PROSECUTOR/JUDGE BUDDY SYSTEM?

Chief Tim Dolan had better make time to see the tape pronto. He will have some serious explaining to do in the morning.

I'm surprised they're only asking for $75K. These lawsuits are usually huge.
Shocking someone that close to the brain seems really dangerous.

Where is the rest of the tape?

Doesn,t matter. its what was done to him. Cops can,t retaliate! That,s against the law.

Why dont you dream up a scenario for us where something before the tape starts would justify this? Anything!
